Food Explorers: Age 2.5 - 6 Years

A group intervention for children who are selective with food textures and variety. Work on increasing comfort with food through play, which can lead to trying and eventually eating new things!

Who:      Children 2.5- 6 years & their caregiver

                Any diagnosis (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down 

                syndrome, cerebral palsy, medical complexity)

​

What:     Explore foods during a play-based therapeutic snack time

​

Where:   Our clinic with kitchen and sensory space!

​

When:    Thursdays 10:00-10:50am

                6 sessions total

                July 4 - Aug 22, 2024 (excluding July 25 & Aug 15)

Fee:        $ 660 (inclusive)

Teen Life Skills Group with Dinner 

A unique occupational therapy life skills group for teens! Each week we will budget for, purchase, and prepare healthy appetizers to go along with our pizza dinner. Work on personalized life skill goals like self-awareness, advocacy, self-regulation, interacting with peers, problem solving, money management, shopping, and simple meal preparation. Dinner included.

Who:      Teens age 14-18 with ASD (Level 1-2), Learning Disabilities, 

                ADHD, and/or neurodiversity

​

What:     Work on life skills goals with others in a welcoming space

​

Where:   Our clinic with trip to the local grocery store (5 min walk)

​

When:    Wednesdays 5:00-7:00pm

                6 sessions total

                July 4 - Aug 22, 2024 (excluding July 25 & Aug 15)

Fee:        $ 1,140 (food included)
